Horse Stud Project
The Horse Stud Project required that I make a brand new home dwelling look weather beaten and old. Therefore, all the exterior timber cladding, interior walls & structure, and roofing, was made to look old and rusty.
Some older materials were able to be sourced, but much of what’s seen in the final product, is created with painterly finishes.
Virtually all external cladding used new timber. I made the new timber look weathered, using finishes, faux splits and tannin stains.
New timber cladding made to look patchy and weathered from the elements.
Interior exposed beams, walls and ceiling fans weren’t spared the aged look.
The exterior of the brand new house virtually ‘complete.’
